(Web Course) Second course of a two-semester sequence designed to prepare students for the knowledge-based portion of the Aries!" Professional Computer Technician and the Comp TIAA+ certification examinations. Students enrolling in this course have 120 days to complete the required materials. The course covers operating systems, and basic computer applications including installing and operating a peer-to- peer LAN. Includes basics of computer assembly, testing and verification of proper operations, troubleshooting and component upgrades. All testing will be administered on- line. The course is instructor mentored with student support through e-mail.
