The course introduces students to the basics of producing digital images through hands-on activities and experiences operating a digital camera and basic imaging software to improve photos. During the class the student will define and use digital imaging terminology including file formats, indentify features of different types of digital cameras, manipulate and organize images transferred from digital cameras, transfer images to computer software, and produce a variety of different digital photographs such as landscapes, portraits, action shots and product pictures.
