Description:
Students learn/apply ethics-based leadership skills that develop individual abilities and contribute to the building of effective teams. Course focuses on the development skills in oral and written communications, planning events, coordination of group efforts, advanced first aid, land navigation and basic military tactics. This class meets two times each week. The Military Science Lab (MILS 203) and participation in our physical fitness course (MILS 199, 299) are required in conjunction with this course. Participation in a weekend field training exercise is optional, but highly encouraged. Prerequisite MILS 101 and 102, or the permission of the Professor of Military Science.
