Focus on cultural practices and institutions among ethnic groups the world over. Examines the roots and results of notions of difference, otherness, and prejudices among peoples. Provides students with a thoughtful appreciation for the vast diversity among human practices and behavior, including marriage, child rearing, cuisine, art, politics, religion, and household practices.
