Field techniques of measuring infiltration, soil moirsture, auifer permeability and hydraulic conductivity. Practice in conducting geophysical surveys and drilling, logging and developing ground water wells. Methods of sampling water for chemical analysis. Visits to drilling, monitoring and waste management sites. Methods of recording, analysing, mapping and reporting field data. Lecture 2 hours, lab 3 hours.
