This seminar provides students with an opportunity to do service and research in an applied organizational setting. It includes problem solving through involvement and social action research in one organizational setting. As an applied sociologist, the student will learn to produce information that is useful in resolving problems in community organizatins, social service organizations and grass roots social change organizations.
