Provides students with opportunity to do in-depth analysis of the utilization of computers in classrooms with special reference to reading instruction. The main topics included are software availability, selection, evaluation and usage for reading comprehension, word recognition, assessment, vocabulary, and word processing. Computer laboratory set-up and integrating video technology are also examined. Observations of school and business computer laboratories are included.
