Lecture 1 hour; studio 5 hours; 3 credits. Prerequisite: ARTS 370 and approval for continuance in the graphic design concentration through portfolio review. This advanced course is devoted to the study of printed communication from a formal and visual perspective. Assignments require the use of typography and images in both single and multiple page formats. Solutions to problems will be developed that accurately represent the actual printed product. Open only to students admitted to the graphic design emphasis.
