Lecture 1 hour; studio 5 hours; 3 credits. Prerequisite: ARTS 370 and junior standing or permission of instructor. Provides a basic understanding of the practical and theoretical principles that are necessary to design and produce effective advertising. Problems will be assigned in local and national retail, institutional and corporate advertising. Print, direct mail, radio, and television media production will be covered.
