Students will study an introduction to differential calculus of functions of a single variable with applications to the behavioral, management, and social sciences. Topics include limits, continuity, derivatives, and applications of derivatives for algebraic, exponential, and natural logarithm functions. Prerequisite: MAT 1530 or MAT 1600 or high school precalculus or equivalent. A student cannot receive graduation credit for both MAT 1630 and MAT 1710. Campus and term: J occasionally; C occasionally
