This course will provide career-oriented business students with an awareness of mathematical problems that occur in the business world. The student will learn skills necessary to solve business-related math problems. Topics include algebra and word problems, percentage problems, graphing, discounts, mark-ups, ratios, averages, presentation of data, and the calculation of interest.
