Description:
Students will demonstrate a working knowledge of the art and technique of the oral presentation of literature in a variety of presentation contexts: radio, television, theatre, vocal music, speechmaking, and general oral communications. Students will exercise and develop greater control of their voices with attention to clarity, pitch, volume, and expression. They will also be introduced to aesthetic criteria and performance theory.
