Designed for students entering the workforce as laboratory assistants in the biomedical field. Both immunological theory and applications. Focuses on techniques such as isolation, purification, and labelling of antibody molecules using various procedures such as electrophoresis and ELISA. Prerequisite: BT 110 (with a grade of C or better) or consent of instructor. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours); Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
