Designed for students entering the workforce as laboratory assistants in the biomedical field. The use of cell culture in modern biotechnological applications. Special emphasis is placed on laboratory skills in a variety of cell culture techniques. Prerequisite: BT 110 ( with a grade of C or better) or consent of instructor. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours); Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
