Explores the design of mechanical working drawings in various manufacturing disciplines; gear drawing and design, and cam and follower drawing and design. Includes mechanical designs, mechanical assemblies, machine design, power transmission, bearings, and seals in assemblies. Prerequisite: ((DFT 122 or CAD 100) with a grade of C or better) or Approval of the Program Coordinator. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours); Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
