The basic assessment and clinical skills, related theory, professional role and responsibilities of the dental hygienist as a member of the dental health team are included. Prerequisite: Completion of BSL 110 and BSL 111, both with a grade of C or better and acceptance into the Dental Hygiene Program. Lecture: 2.5 credits (37.5 contact hours); Laboratory: 2.5 hours (150 contact hours).
