Fixed, removable, active and passive orthodontic appliances are studied in this course. Principles of tooth movement, classifications of malocclusion, orthodontic materials and their manipulation, orthodontic study models, and functional appliances will be discussed. Prerequisite: DLT 122. Lecture: 1 credit (15 contact hours); Laboratory: 1 credit (45 contact hours).
