This course is a study of library services for preschool children, age infant to 5 years. Topics include library programming development and production, preschool children's literature, services for parents and for child care services, collection development, and legal issues. This is a web-based distance course that requires service learning activities. Prerequisite: LIT 115. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
