This course provides knowledge that helps business and non-business students effectively manage their personal financial affairs. The course will provide an overview and coverage of the fundamentals of personal financial planning. Topics include personal financial statements, budgeting, tax planning, investing and savings, insurance, real estate, and retirement planning. Contemporary business problems and the changing economic and social environment and their effect on business and personal financial planning decisions are discussed.
