Honors Option Available. This is an honors course which provides the student with a general survey of the theories, concepts, and research methods utilized in the field of sociology which contribute to a basic understanding of the social behavior, group processes, and institutional structure of contemporary societies. All students enrolled in this course will be required to participate in a required class activity which explores the relationship between the process of globalization and the social world. 3-0-3
