This is a course in intermediate algebra that covers topics in algebraic functions and operations. Students deepen their skills with linear, quadratic, rational, absolute value and higher degree polynomial equations and functions. Other key concepts explored include exponents, radicals and complex numbers. Students also learn to apply an analytic geometric approach using the Cartesian coordinate system to graph and analyze lines and systems of equations.
