In this course, students study respiratory pharmacology with emphasis on the properties of medications and their effects on the patient. Students explore the mechanism of action for pharmacological agents most frequently used to treat respiratory therapy patients. The competencies a respiratory care practitioner must demonstrate to be safe and effective.
