In this course, students explore the paralegal profession through an overview of the career field, educational requirements, ethical standards, areas of specialization and work environment settings. They examine certifications, professional associations and the roles and responsibilities of paralegals. The course provides foundational knowledge about the paralegal career path and the skills needed for success.
