In this course, students develop the skills needed to work as a lighting designer, lighting technician or master electrician in a professional theatre setting. They analyze lighting design, safely operate lighting equipment and implement lighting designs. Students also explore related roles and responsibilities within theatrical lighting. Through hands-on experience, students gain expertise that prepares them for careers in lighting for live performances.
