In this course, students are introduced to stage management. They each stage manage their own short production, focusing on the essential organizational skills of this theatrical role. Students experience first-hand the coordination needed between directors, designers, casts and crews. Practical experience managing an onstage production provides students with insight into the pivotal role of the stage manager from pre-production planning through performance.
