This course, designed to assist students in the transition to college life, will provide strategies for success including study skills, textbook reading techniques, note taking methods, and stress and time management skills. Students will develop career plans through the implementation of inventories and assessments, as well as utilization of Internet and software applications. Emphasis is placed on the identification of college resources and policies that can assist students in their academic success.
