Information literacy is the ability to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively. These skills are essential to students while in college but also for success in their personal and professional lives after they have graduated. Students explore online, print, and non-print information resources and hone their information-seeking skills and knowledge as they relate to critical thinking, resource analysis, and the ethical and appropriate use of information and develop a base level of information literacy skills.
