For beginning students. Primary emphasis is on aural/oral skills. Students will learn to converse and ask questions in simple present time and become acquainted with location of Hispanic populations and elements of their daily lives. Attendance is required. No student will be allowed to register for or take a D/F repeat in SPAN 101 when credit has already been received for a higher numbered Spanish course.
