This course examines the forces which have produced significant changes in the modern world and integrates the experiences of Asia, Africa and Latin America with that of Europe and America. An assessment is made of the impact of war, peace, racism, nationalism, imperialism, ideology, religion and family upon the peoples and cultures of the 20th century.
