Prerequisite:Appropriate score on Biology Assessment or in BIO 105 An introduction to biochemistry, cell biology, and histology, followed by a survey of the structure and function of domestic animals using a systems approach. The physiology of domestic animals will be handled primarily in the lecture, while the anatomy will be discussed in the laboratory with cat dissection as the primary tool.
