Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts of all college work attempted at other colleges or universities (regardless of credit earned) are required. If you have less than 15 hours of transferable credit, you must request that your high school transcript be sent.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have less than 15 hours of transferable credit, you must request that your ACT or SAT scores be sent to Schreiner.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement may be required of some applicants.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $25 processing fee.
  • Interview:
    An interview with an admission counselor is desirable.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned that may be accepted for transfer credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum semester hours eligible for transfer is 100. You must earn 30 semester credits in residence at Schreiner to receive a degree.
