Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

A minimum college grade point average of 2.0 is required of transfer applicants.
Official Transcripts:

The submission of official transcripts from all previously attended colleges is required. If you have less than 30 transferrable semester hours (45 quarter), the submission of your official high school transcript is also required.
SAT Scores:

You are required to submit official SAT or ACT test scores if you have fewer than 30 transferrable semester hours or 45 transferrable quarter hours.
Letters of Recommendation:

A Statement of Good Standing is required.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement is not required for transfer admission consideration.
Application Fee:

There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.
Interview:

A personal interview is not required.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

Credit is given for transfer courses in which a grade of “C” or better has been earned.
Credits (Min/Max):

The maximum amount of credits accepted for transfer are 67 semester credits. You must complete a minimum of 30 credits at SSU to earn a bachelor's degree.
