Located in beautiful Southern California, San Diego Christian College provides an excellent liberal arts education that thrives on making the Bible come alive.   • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    $1,000 is available to students who complete the application process at San Diego Christian College by submitting ALL required application materials by January 15th preceding the Fall enrollment term. This is a one year award.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement is 2.50 for transfer admission consideration.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request an official copy of transcripts from all colleges previously attended. If you currently attend college, have an in progress transcript sent now and a final sent when the semester is over. You also need a copy of your high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Students who have 30 or more college units will not need to submit standardized test scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two letters of recommendation are required from people who are not related to you, but know you well. 1) A pastor, youth pastor, bible study or small group leader; 2) a high school teacher or counselor, or college instructor.
  • Essay:
    Christian Commitment as evidenced through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and responses to application and essay questions.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    To enter the Teacher Credential Program, you must pass an admissions interview.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    An associate degree is not required.
  • Other Requirements:
    The College has Special Requirements which include courses in Bible, theology and philosophy. You may not be required to take them all. If you have 40 hours which apply to the degree program, you are required to take at least 1 Special per semester.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A grade of C (2.0) or better is transferable (a C- will not be accepted).
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A max of 90 credit hours for courses from other institutions may be considered for transferal to a degree program at San Diego Christian College. Only 12 upper division credit hours can be transferred into a major.
