  • Accepts Transfers:
    Each year, approximately 10 percent of our new incoming students have transferred from another college or university.
  • Degree Completion Programs:
    Salve Regina University has sought to address the needs of adult learners by offering programs in the Liberal Arts and professional development through evening courses and courses that meet at convenient off-campus locations.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school transcript and official transcript(s) from each college/university attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are optional. Nursing and education applicants who have earned less than 30 college credits must submit official test scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two letters of recommendation (at least one must be from a college instructor) are required.
  • Essay:
    A personal essay, as well as a College Official's Report, is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $50 application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    A list of courses in progress that are not listed on the transcript is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Qualifying grades at the undergraduate level are "C" or above (not "C-" or "Pass").
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Undergraduate students accepted with transfer credits are classified as freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior according to the number of credits accepted in transfer.
