St. Norbert College, a Catholic liberal arts college embracing the Norbertine ideal of communio, provides an educational environment that fosters intellectual, spiritual and personal development. SNC is located on the banks of the Fox River in De Pere, WI, just five miles south of Green Bay. St. Norbert College is a place students love so much they call it “home”. Our students receive individual attention from our caring professors and can choose from more than 30 major fields of study. We hold a strong emphasis on some of the many oppurtunities we provide including: student-faculty collaborative research, professional internships and study abroad program. Classes here are taught by full professors rather than graduate teaching assistants.

    Transfer students will be considered for admission as long as they have a cumulative grade average of at least "C+" (2.5/4.0), are free to return to their previous college or university, and are considered to be in good academic standing both at their previous school and at St. Norbert College.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit for college-level work is granted in all areas that correspond to courses offered at St. Norbert College as long as the student has earned at least a "C" for the course.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no maximum amount of credit transferable from a 4-year institution, the student is held to the requirements that at least the senior year and a minimum of 25% of the major must be taken at St. Norbert.
