    About 90 percent of our students receive financial aid. All admitted students are automatically considered for merit-based aid; awards range from $1,000 to full tuition. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    If you're interested in transferring to Saint Michael's College, to be accepted you must be in good academic and administrative standing at your former or present institution, preferably with a 3.0 or better in rigorous liberal arts courses.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Your official final high school transcript is required, as well as official college transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
  • SAT Scores:
    Transfer applicants are not required to submit test scores or professor recommendations but they will be considered if included with the application.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A College Official's Form is required.
  • Essay:
    A personal essay and transfer statement are required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $50 application fee.
  • Interview:
    An interview is recommended.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit may be transferred for work completed at accredited colleges with a grade of C- or better, provided that the courses correspond to offerings at Saint Michael’s.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
