Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum for all admission is a 2.5 GPA, but the requirement could be higher depending on your major.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit official copies of transcripts from every college or university where you’ve attempted credit. If you have completed fewer than 24 credit hours at the time you apply for admission, you must submit an official high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have completed fewer than 24 credit hours at the time you apply for admission, you must submit ACT or SAT scores.
  • Essay:
    Neither an essay nor résumé are required as part of your application for admission. In some cases, a personal statement may be required of applicants seeking readmission to the University.

  • Minimum Grade:
    Most general college-level classes in which you achieved a grade of “C” or higher should transfer to SLU.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You may transfer an unlimited number of credits to Saint Louis University.
