Scholarships and Financial Aid:
Financial aid programs include academic scholarships, needbased grants, student and parent loans and employment. Other sources of assistance may include scholarships from private organizations, foundations, fraternal groups and SUNY campus sources.

Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA:
We require a minimum GPA of 2.0 to be considered for admission, with a higher 2.5 requirement for Social Work (as well as many certification programs) and a 2.75 for those wishing to enter into Education.
Official Transcripts:
Academic transcripts are required for all colleges you attended, whether or not you received credit. If you have fewer than 30 transferable credit hours, your official high school transcript is also required.
SAT Scores:
We also consider high school grades and SAT/ACT scores for students who present less than 30 credit hours of college study.
Letters of Recommendation:
One letter of recommendation is only required of freshman applicants.
Essay:
The submission of an essay with your application is only required of freshman applicants.
Application Fee:
The fee for applying is $50.
Interview:
SUNY Fredonia does not publish a requirement for a personal interview.
Other Requirements:
As part of the SUNY system, Fredonia requires all graduates to complete the SUNY general education requirements. Many of these can be completed prior to transferring.

Minimum Grade:
Suny Fredonia does not publish a minimum grade requirement for transfer credit.
Credits (Min/Max):
Most baccalaureate degrees at Fredonia consist of 120 credits. You must complete a minimum of 45 credits at Fredonia, therefore a maximum of 75 transfer credit can be applied toward degree requirements at Fredonia.
