Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement for transfer students is 2.25.
  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities is required. The submission of official high school transcripts may be required of some.
  • SAT Scores:
    The submission of official standardized test scores may be required of some transfer students
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    There is no requirement for letters of recommendation.
  • Essay:
    SUNY Cobleskill may require some students to submit an essay.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a nonrefundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    SUNY Cobleskill does not require a personal interview.

    SUNY Cobleskill has a minimum grade requirement of "D" for transfer credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no minimum credit requirement. You must complete 33 credit hours at SUNY Cobleskill to earn an associates degree, and 45 to earn a bachelors.
