Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Rush University does not publish a requirement for a minimum GPA
  • SAT Scores:
    Submit MCAT Test Scores. Earliest MCAT test date acceptable for 2009 entering is January 2007. Latest MCAT test date for the Rush entering class of 2009 is November 1 2008.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    One packet/committee letter from your undergraduate school, or two (2) individual letters from any sources you choose. One of these two (2) letters must be from an individual with whom you have had substantial contact during the past 24 months.
  • Application Fee:
    Nonrefundable $75 fee
  • Interview:
    There is a selection process for being interviewed. Once invited to interview, the applicant self-schedules on our Web site, choosing from among the available dates posted. All interviews are conducted on-site at Rush Medical College.
