  • Accepts Transfers:
    A transfer student has completed 15 hours or more of college credit from a regionally accredited college or university.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit official transcripts from all previously attended academic institutions (high school, GED, community college, college, or university).
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Though not initially required, letters of recommendation may be requested after initial review of your application.
  • Essay:
    Though not initially required, a personal statement, or essay may be requested after initial review of your application.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Students that have completed an AA or AS degree have met all lower division general education core requirements at Roosevelt University.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Roosevelt accepts courses with grades of C- or higher in transfer. Credit may be awarded for D grades for transfer students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4-point scale.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You may transfer up to 70 semester hours from a two-year accredited institution. You may transfer up to 90 semester hours from a four-year accredited institution.
