  • Accepts Transfers:
    SUNY Rockland Community College welcomes students who have completed coursework at other institutions and who wish to continue their studies at RCC.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Admission to Rockland Community College is open to applicants whose academic record and qualifications suggest that they have the ability to benefit from the educational experience.
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school and college transcripts, from every institution attended, are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Not required for admissions consideration.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Not required for admissions consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    $30 nonrefundable fee must be submitted with the application.
  • Interview:
    Not required for admissions consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses for which a student has earned a grade lower than a “C” will not be accepted for transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum transferable credits for an associate’s degree is 32, with the exception of students entering with Automotive Service Excellence Certification A1- A8. The maximum to earn a certificate is 15.
