The mission of Riverside Community College District Transfer Center is dedicated to increasing the transfer function and to increase the number of students prepared for transfer to baccalaureate-level institutions. This is accomplished through coordination of college transfer efforts, with an emphasis on the preparation and transfer of underrepresented students, including disabled students, low-income students, first-generation college students, and other groups of students underrepresented in the transfer process.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Some form of student aid is available to almost all students. There are federal grants and student loans. The state also offers grants and fee waivers. It's all in our Consumer Guide to Student Financial Services.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    You must submit official high school and college transcripts to receive transfer credit. Once your transcripts are on file, you must fill out a Prerequisite Validation form.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT and ACT scores are not required to determine your eligibility to be admitted to a California community college, nor may they be used in lieu of community college assessment tests.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A letter of recommendation is not required.
  • Essay:
    You are not required to submit a personal essay.
  • Application Fee:
    Applying to a California community college is free. Some community colleges do have an application fee for international student applications.
