Financial Information

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    In order to receive financial aid, you must apply for it. Most aid is applied for using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There are more than 500+ sponsored scholarships available through the Riverland Community College Foundation that may help you achieve your educational goals.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    You will need to have your official transcripts sent from all colleges outside of the MN State College & University System. If you are transferring from a Minnesota State College or University we will access your transcript(s) with your application.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    College courses that are not part of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, in which a student has received a grade of A, B, C, or P will be considered for transfer. If a student has a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, D's will be considered for transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To receive a degree from RCC, a minimum of 20 semester credits of college-level courses must be taken at Riverland. For students transferring from other Minnesota State Colleges and Universities institutions, this number is reduced to 12 credits.
