River Valley Community College enrolls approximately 900 students each year. Most of our students attend part-time (83%), while 17% of our students attend RVCC full-time. We offer in-person, online and hybrid courses to meet the needs of the changing world with 80% of our student body taking at least one online course.     Nearly all of our students (89%) receive some Financial Aid through grants, scholarships and loans to help pay for their education. Students must complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility.

    Our tuition and fees is approximately $6,940 per year for full-time students. Tuition/credit: $215 NH Resident | $323 New England Regional | $490 Out-of-State.

    Official high school transcripts or documentation of high school equivalency scores and official transcripts of all previous college work are required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A grade of C or higher is required for transfer credit consideration. Credits earned at another institution will be added to the total credits accumulated for graduation but are not included in GPA or cGPA calculation.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Degree students must earn 15 credits in residence at RVCC, of which 8 credits must be in advanced (200-level) courses in the student’s major. Certificate students must earn 6 credits or 25% of the credits, whichever is higher.
