Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    There is no minimum GPA required for admission to RACC though selective majors may require a specific GPA. In addition, only courses in which students have earned a C or higher may be accepted for credit at RACC.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school and college transcripts are required as part of the application process for all students. Additional information may be required from international students seeking admission or for students applying for selective programs.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT scores are not required. However, SAT scores may be used to waive placement tests for students who do not transfer a college-level English Composition or Math course to RACC.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    None Required
  • Essay:
    None Required
  • Application Fee:
    None
  • Interview:
    Though not required for admission to RACC, an interview may be required as a part of the process of entering a selective major.
  • Other Requirements:
    Placement tests may be required of those seeking transfer to RACC, depending on prior credits or courses completed. Foreign students must satisfy all state and federal guidelines for studying in the US.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    All presented credits that meet grade and curricular requirements will be accepted at RACC. 25% of the credits required for an associate's degree and 50% of the credits required for a college certificate or diploma must be completed at RACC.
