Founded in 1830 and located in historic Ashland, Va., Randolph-Macon College is a selective, co-educational, national liberal arts and sciences college with a mission of “developing the minds and character of its students.” R-MC achieves this mission by creating unique moments of connection between faculty and students. These one-on-one connections are supported by a student-faculty ratio of 11:1, an average class size of 15 students and an overall enrollment of approximately 1200 students. Located just 15 miles north of Richmond and 90 miles south of Washington, D.C., Randolph-Macon offers students a broad academic foundation and provides them numerous opportunities for individualizing their education.
