Attending Radford University is primarily the responsibility of students and their families. However, many students need assistance to cover part or all of their university expenses. The majority of funds awarded by Radford are federal and need-based.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

A minimum college grade point average of 2.00 is required of transfer applicants.
Official Transcripts:

Official high school transcripts are required of some applicants and will be notified if needed. Official transcripts from previously attended institutions are required of all for admission.
SAT Scores:

Standardized test scores are recommended to be submitted by all students to be considered for admission.
Letters of Recommendation:

Statement of good standing from prior institution(s) is not required for admission consideration.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement is recommended by all students to be considered for admission.
Application Fee:

Application fee is $50.
Interview:

An interview is not required for admission consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a C or higher.
Credits (Min/Max):

The minimum number of credits that transfers must complete at your institution to earn a bachelor’s degree is 45
