Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
To transfer to Quinnipiac, you should have earned college-level credit after graduating from high school with at least a 2.5 grade-point average. Some programs in the health sciences require a higher GPA. Please see individual programs for their requirements.
  • Official Transcripts:
Request that your official high school transcript be sent to us. You must do this unless you have completed an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Make arrangements to have your official transcripts from all colleges attended sent to us.
  • SAT Scores:
Have your official SAT I or ACT scores sent directly to us. This is required for students who have fewer than 30 credits of college level work. Quinnipiac’s SAT code is 3712; ACT code is 0582.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
Include a letter of recommendation. We encourage you to provide one from your adviser or a teacher.
  • Essay:
This one-page essay is to be included with your application. It's most helpful if you use the essay to tell us about your previous college experience and your reasons for wanting to transfer to Quinnipiac.
