Minimum GPA:
Pratt Institute does not publish a requirement for a minimum GPA
Official Transcripts:
Official college/university transcripts from all schools attended (no exceptions). In addition, an official transcript from high school(s) attended with date of graduation is required unless you possess a four-year college degree.
SAT Scores:
SAT/ACT tests are not required of transfer applicants but should be submitted if you have completed fewer than two semesters.
Letters of Recommendation:
All applicants are required to submit at least one letter of recommendation. If possible, this letter should come from a teacher or employer in a field related to the applicant's professional goal.
Essay:
The essay is part of the application. Describe when and how you became interested in art, design, writing, architecture, or the particular major to which you are applying. Describe how this interested has manifested itself in your daily life.
Application Fee:
The completed basic application form should be returned to the Office of Admissions with a non-refundable $50 application fee or $90 for international applicants.
Interview:
Pratt Institute does not publish a requirement for an interview. Unless you are a Art and Design Transfer Applicant, then a Portfolio Evaluation/Interview will be conducted.
Other Requirements:
A visual or writing portfolio (not required for construction management applicants) is required.
